Context:
The client, Steelcase, was opening their second Worklife Center in India.

Challenge:
The challenge in the project was to achieve a very high level of finishing as well as managing to design a space that acted as an office space, showroom and resource centre in one and yet maintaining the individuality of the space.

Solution:
The design for the space emanated from the design philosophy behind Worklife -- which ultimately contributed to the success of the design. We were able to understand the expectations and requirements that Steelcase had in mind, allowing us to design Worklife in a way that also reflected the opportunities afforded by the space itself. The exposed ceiling, raised floor, portable partition system, focused lighting and service details were design concepts that we developed…all of which were used throughout the open work spaces.
