Kinaxis, a global supply chain management and operations planning software company, sought to create an innovative office space in Chennai. They aimed to foster a culture that seamlessly merged work and relaxation, reflecting their core values. The challenge was to design an environment that encouraged exploration, collaboration, and productivity while staying true to the company's identity.

Our design concept, 'Plan Better, Grow Faster, and Change the World,' drew inspiration from Chennai's hydrological history. The city's ever-changing hydrology served as a metaphor for our project's dynamic nature. We incorporated shades of blue and the brand's vibrant red into the office's colour palette, balanced by calming greys. Meeting rooms were designed for versatility with sliding partitions, echoing Chennai's hydrological themes in their decor. Workstations blended functionality with pops of red, ergonomic furnishings, and privacy features. Overlooking the workspace, the cafeteria with red seating became a dynamic hub for interaction.

Flexibility was a key focus. We created diverse workspaces, leveraging workplace trends including standing desks, amphitheatre-style areas, and cosy seating, interwoven with recreational zones to offer a variety of work settings for people to choose from. The office design also features a convertible space that could transform into an event area, promoting work-life integration.

The Chennai office design successfully encapsulated Kinaxis' mission and values, offering an inspiring space that harmonised work and relaxation. It encouraged exploration and collaboration while promoting well-being. Flexible workspaces empowered employees to choose how they worked best. Ultimately, the office embodied Kinaxis' commitment to growth and innovation, creating a dynamic, engaging workspace that empowered employees to 'Plan Better, Grow Faster, and Change the World.'
