Brand Narrative: Every design element, from the lighting to the furniture, needed to communicate Kyndryl's commitment to progress, innovation, and inclusivity.

Our design team translated Kyndryl's core values into tangible experiences that addressed the identified challenges and, most importantly, focused on Kyndryl's employees and their well-being:

Employee-Centric Design: Kyndryl's culture prioritises its people. The workspace reflects this by offering a variety of work settings – quiet nooks for focused work, collaborative areas for brainstorming sessions, and social spaces for informal interaction. This empowers employees with choice and control over their work environment, fostering a sense of ownership and autonomy.

Innovation by Design: Kyndryl's commitment to progress and innovation is evident throughout the office. Open floor plans, flexible furniture arrangements, and writable walls encourage collaboration, idea-sharing, and spontaneous interactions. Purpose-built collaboration zones equipped with cutting-edge technology provide dedicated spaces for teams to co-create and brainstorm, sparking the next big innovation.

Well-being as a Priority: Understanding that employee well-being is crucial for creativity and productivity, the design incorporates natural elements like biophilic design principles to create a calming and stimulating environment. Abundant natural light, comfortable and adjustable furniture, and on-site fitness facilities contribute to a healthy and positive work experience.

Inclusive Collaboration: Kyndryl's dedication to inclusivity is reflected in the design's accessibility features, ergonomic furniture, and clear signage. This ensures everyone feels welcome and valued, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment where diverse ideas and perspectives can flourish.

Spark Conversations, Spark Ideas: The layout of the workspace is specifically designed to encourage incidental encounters and impromptu conversations. By bringing people together in shared spaces like break areas and open collaboration zones, the design fosters a sense of community and connection, ultimately leading to a more innovative and dynamic work environment.

The Client Experience Centre: A Showcase of Innovation

A highlight of the project was the creation of Kyndryl's Client Experience Center and techbar, a unique feature among its global offices. This immersive space, designed with captivating ceiling installations, interactive displays, and flexible meeting areas, allows Kyndryl to showcase its capabilities to clients in a sophisticated and engaging environment.
